Air Preheaters

COR-TEN steel, when exposed to the atmosphere, develops an initial layer of rust as ordinary steel does. But, as time goes by, this early product gradually converts to a fine-textured rust (protective rust) that tightly adheres to the base metal, providing a protective layer that both protects the base metal and suppresses further corrosion.

It is a group of steel alloys developed to eliminate the need for painting and form a stable rust-like appearance after several years. Unpainted applications offer economic advantage of reducing repainting costs.

Our Tubes are widely used for manufacturing and maintaining boilers in power plants and process industries such as Chemical Industry, Sugar Industry, Power Plant, Steel Industry, Cooling Tower, Super Heater, Paper Industry, Air Heaters, Heat Exchanger, etc. The APH ERW Tubes are produced as hot rolled or cold drawn tubes. The size and grade of tubes are determined by the design of the boilers, which is dependent on the kind of fuel, temperatures, pressures, and the amount of steam required.
Having huge demand spread across the globe to various industrial sectors like oil & petrochemicals refinery, fertilizers, chemicals, steel, power, energy, cement, marine & offshore, aerospace, defence, dairy, distillery, sugar mills, paper mills, textile mills, oil mills, boiler & heavy engineering/fabrication etc.

Air pre-heater (APH) are manufactured in a wide range to meet the desired customer specifications. We use advanced technology equipment and fabricate these tubes in accordance with national and international quality standards. Our Air Pre Heater-Tubes are available in assorted sizes, types, dimensions, and thicknesses and in customized specifications as per the requirements of our clients. The air preheater's function is to recover heat from the boiler flue gas, increasing the boiler's thermal efficiency by minimizing the usable heat lost in the flue gas. Air Preheaters (APH) are used for preheating the air which is fed to the boiler or furnaces/kilns for combustion of fuels. The Air Preheater’s primary objective is to extract the waste heat from the flue gases leaving the boiler. It shall also conform to tensile strength, yield strength, hardness, and elongation requirements.
